One of the most important things you should be aware of is “Is my Website Mobile Responsive?”

What do I mean by Mobile Responsive?

Wikipedia defines Mobile Responsive as:

an approach to web design aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing and interaction experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a broad range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones).

Let me clarify a bit more:

making sure that your website is easily readable and navigational on mobile devices without causing the reader any discomfort in resizing, scrolling, and searching.

Is your Website Mobile Responsive?

Recently, I have stumbled upon too many blogs that are not mobile responsive. Being I work full-time, I try to squeeze my blog reading and commenting in when I’m walking around my office or on a break.

  • To find an article that I’m very anxious to read but cannot because the content is cut off on my mobile phone is very annoying. This should not be happening.
  • To find an article that you can read and you’d like to contribute by leaving a comment, yet you cannot because there is a popup or a banner in the way and you cannot move it.
  • To find an article that is an awesome read, you were able to leave a comment and now you would like to pass it along to your Social Media However, you cannot because the Website does not have Mobile Responsive Social Media Sharing Buttons.

These are a few of the issues I run into when I’m mobile. It is annoying and can be very frustrating for a reader.

When was the last time you checked your Website on Mobile?

It’s imperative that we look at our Websites not only on the Web but on Mobile devices. Think about this, if a potential Client cannot read your Available Services on your website via mobile, do you think they will take the time to go on a laptop or desktop to read it?

Chances are, No. They will continue their search on mobile to find someone who can provide them the services they are seeking.

Make sure your #Website is #MobileResponsive or you could be missing out on potential business.Click To Tweet
